Light Mode, providing better readability!

A brand new look for ZUS

Based on the feedback we've received in the past, many people found dark mode more difficult to read than the regular light mode. And the scientific studies explain that using a light-themed interface in the daytime is easier on the eyes of normal-vision people (20–20 vision or wearing prescribed glasses/contacts), at least in the short term. 

Accordingly, we finally have rolled out the light mode to go easy on everybody’s eyes with improved readability and intuitiveness in the daytime. You can trigger it via Settings > General > Appearance.

  

Dark Mode still works

As a classic style of ZUS, the dark mode is still available. And physical limitations aside, the Dark mode can help with battery improvement. If you’re using a phone with an OLED screen, the screen turns off in places with pitch dark colors. This smart screen, that’s present in most high-end phones, is deemed to decrease battery usage by at least 10%.

Set your own preference

Either the light mode or the dark mode, it ultimately comes down to personal preference. There's no one-size-fits-all solution, so just select whatever suits you better.
