Q1. Why do I need a nonda account to use ZUS?

When you start to use ZUS, you may notice that we need a nonda account to login. This is because we would like to provide more features and a better user experience. For example, you can:

  • Protect your ZUS; don't let others connect without your permission
  • Get an accurate car finding experience
  • Enjoy the Family Share feature
  • Receive accurate car battery status analyses
  • See special offers only available to ZUS app users

But if you still don't want to register for an account, you may contact our customer service at cs@nonda.us and we will help you with the return process.

Q2.What are the system requirements for the ZUS app?

Your phone will need to have built-in Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy(BLE Module) to support ZUS.

iOS 8.1 and up

Android Phone 4.3 Jelly Bean and up

Q3. Can I pair with another Bluetooth device while paired with ZUS?

Yes. Bluetooth allows you to connect up to 7 devices to one master device. However, some phones or operating systems may not allow this. It would be best to contact your phone’s manufacturer or consult your manual for tips or information regarding connecting multiple devices simultaneously.

Q4.What do the three indicator lights on the ZUS mean?

  1. Blinking Lights:ZUS is not connected with the ZUS App. No parking location and mileage will be recorded.
  2. Solid lights: ZUS is connected with ZUS App and it's ready to record your parking location after parking.
  3. No lights:ZUS is not connected with the cigarette lighter or App. No parking location, mileage or car battery voltage will be recorded.

Q5. Does the ZUS app work in a multi-level parking lot?

As long as the multi-level parking lot is uncovered and you remember which floor your car is parked, ZUS can help you find your car. ZUS locates your car via your phone's built-in GPS, so the accuracy of your car's location will vary depending on the environment. ZUS works best in uncovered parking lots and GPS only measures horizontal distances.

For covered multi-level parking lots, it is suggested to take photos using your ZUS app and pin your location manually.

Q6. Why is ZUS not fast-charging my device?

Fast-charging can be affected by a number of factors. The first thing you can check is your charging cable. If you are not using your device's OEM charging cable and using a generic one, fast-charging may not work. In our laboratory tests, with a good charging cable, the charging current can reach 2.4 amperes. Also, ZUS will not be able to fast-charge newer devices running on processors with Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology, as they require certified accessories to work. ZUS can only charge such devices the standard/normal speed.

Q7. What will happen if I leave my ZUS plugged into the car for a long time?

When ZUS is not charging other devices, it consumes less than 0.02A. The battery for a normal car is around 50~60Ah. Let's say there is only 50% battery power remaining which is 25~30Ah. It would take 1250~1500 hours(52-62 days) to drain your car's battery, assuming you do not drive the car at all during that time.

Q8. What do I need to do when sharing the same ZUS charger with others?

If both you and your friend will be using the same ZUS, you may add your friend to your ZUS via Family Share. Then both you and your friend can use the same device and you would know where and when your friend parked. You would still be the owner.

If you will not be using this ZUS anymore, you will need to remove this ZUS from your ZUS app before giving it to someone else. Then he/she can pair with it and use it as the owner.

Q9. Why can't I register or log into an account?

Have problems when signing up or logging in? Please check the following:

  • Internet: Try it when connected to WIFI or 4G
  • Email address: No space/punctuation
  • Password: At least 6 numbers/letters/ punctuation marks

  2. Input email address > Tap “Reset password”
  3. Check the email you received and click the link
  4. Reset Password in the web page
