Following are the standard mileage rates of 2024:
Mileage rates in the US:
- 67 cents per mile driven for business use
- 21 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes for qualified active-duty Armed Forces members
- 14 cents per mile driven in service of charitable organizations
Mileage rates in Canada:
- 70 cents per kilometer for the first 5,000 kilometers driven
- 64 cents per kilometer driven after that
- For the territories, 74cents per kilometre for the first 5,000 kilometres driven, and 68 cents for each additional kilometre
Mileage rates in Britain:
- 45p for cars and vans for the first 10,000 miles; after 10,000 miles, the rate changes to 25p per mile
- 24p for motorcycles regardless of miles
- 20p for bicycles regardless of miles
Mileage rates in Australia:
- 85 cents per kilometer driven for business, up to a maximum of 5000km in one financial year
Mileage rates in New Zealand:
- 95 cents per kilometer for petrol or diesel in tier 1 rate; 34 cents per kilometer in tier 2 rate
- 95 cents per kilometer for petrol hybrid in tier 1 rate; 20 cents per kilometer in tier 2 rate
- 95 cents per kilometer for electric in tier 1 rate; 11 cents per kilometer in tier 2 rate
